The Big Golf Race

This Sunday, your Pro and Luke Webb will attempt to play 72 holes in a day for charity (Prostate Cancer).

We are starting at 6.30am and planning on 12 hours to knock all 8 rounds...for every birdie we make, it would be great to raise 50p or a £1 from each of our members...so far we have raised £361 and our goal for Bradfield is to hit £1000.

Pro earns first Masters Tour win at Kingsthorpe GC in Northampton

Playing the course blind, I posted a 69 on Monday this past week. On day two, during the 40-50mph winds, I scrambled and scrapped a 71 to go post 140 and win by one-shot for 36 holes...it was the second seniors event so far and looking forward to the next.

Popov and DJ in leagues of their own

There are sporting shocks, and then there’s the World No. 304 winning a Major! Germany’s Sophia Popov finished on -7 at Royal Troon to claim victory at the AIG Women’s Open. Despite having never won on the LPGA or Ladies European Tour before, the 27-year-old fought off challenges from stars like World No. 8 Minjee Lee and seven-time Major Champion Inbee Park.

Meanwhile, on the PGA Tour, Dustin Johnson won The Northern Trust, the first FedEx Cup playoff event, by shooting a staggering -30. That ended up being an 11-stroke victory, which raises the age-old question of what’s more entertaining:
