Reporting from sunny Portugal…

As you might be aware, I’m currently in Portugal playing in the Staysure Tour Qualifying School at Pestana Golf Resort. I’m currently midway through the tournament and I’m glad to say that I’ve had a decent start. So far for my first two rounds, I’m three-under-par (71, 68) which has put me in tenth position and I have two more rounds remaining.

Below you can see some images and a video which was taken from my caddie, Darren Scholes. I’m looking forward to seeing what the next two rounds bring.

Tour news

Seeing double

Marc Leishman and Lucas Herbert added to their home nations celebrations by making it a double Aussie delight at the Farmers Insurance Open and Omega Dubai Desert Classic respectively.

Sunday 26th January was Australia Day so Lucas Herbert’s first European Tour victory couldn’t have been better timed as the Victoria native overcame South Africa’s Christiaan Bezuidenhout in a nervy playoff.

The Australian whitewash was completed later in the day, as Marc Leishman kept a host of big names behind him to wrap up the Farmers Insurance Open by one from Jon Rahm to make it five PGA Tour wins for the Aussie.

Change is good

Anything that makes golf that little bit easier is a good thing in our eyes and if improving your iron play is up there on your to-do list then you’re in luck, as we have a treat or two we want to share with you.
